Here’s the new video for our next single ‘Rose Red’ out on 17th October.
Directed by Harrison Ford lookalike and Glaswegian playboy Blair Young of Forest of Black productions.
CHARTSHOWSTYLECRAPFACTS: It was shot out in the countryside at a disused farm. God knows how Blair found it. 16 hours in heels and freezing, Adele had to dodge decomposing sheep carcasses and nettles all day but didn’t once complain. What a pro.
We had great fun shooting this video last month in our rehearsal space. Less chilly than the Mirror Mirror trailer shoot but no less enjoyable.
Another master work by Blair Young and The Forest of Black.
CHARTSHOWSTYLECRAPFACTS: Scott’s playing his favourite guitar in this one, a jet black Travis Bean that was used to record the first two albums. He loves it to bits but is too scared of taking it abroad any more after BA lost it for 2 weeks.
Directed and produced by our good friends and ‘long time collaborators’ Blair Young and Beth Allan, AKAThe Forest of Black
We shot this in, what used to be, an old glue factory in Glasgow. Freezing, damp, dark and creepy. Perfect.
Instead of doing a full length video for Silver Spell, Blair had the tremendous idea of making a minute long trailer for the album. It works great and there’s so many different scenes crammed in that we couldn’t help but watch it over again and again when we first saw it.
